Eileen Al-Khayyat loved drawing. In her last communication with her uncle Kareem Abu al-Rous, who resides outside Gaza, she sent several drawings she made during the bombardment and insisted on sending them to her uncle Kareem. Eileen was a simple dreamer, just 7 years old. She wished to travel and own a Lego toy. She, along with her family and siblings Celine, 5 years old, and Mahmoud, 42 days old, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on their home on 13/10/2023, and she never got to buy that Lego toy.
